Mostly, I turn to a good book. I have so many that I can choose from, and they all speak to me where I'm at. I have a knack for pulling meaning from almost anything, and so books are my go-to when things look crappy. Look up, my friend Febru at AM. To live with an open heart is to remember that the essence of our true self is LOVE. We must forgive, heal and feel the depths of our emotions before we have the space to  connect deeper and higher. This open heart space is where we reflect divine love and light for each other! – Andrea Keh.

Venerable Thubten Chodron gives commentary to Chapter 21 “How to Cultivate Compassion” and Chapter 22 “Equanimity” from her book “An Open-Hearted Life.   Open-Hearted Life Meeting my life and experiences with an open heart most of the time. 9/28/ She gathered 37 of her essays from her blog, and collected them into Life is a Verb. This is the first book I have ever read where I just dived right in. With most books, I start from the front cover, read everything in order, read the table.

She now spends her life as a novelist and she coaches people with cardiac diseases. In her first novel appeared: Loneliness prevailing ("In Alles Eenzaam). In Open hearted - my life with cardiomyopathy & heart failure (in Dutch: Openhartig, mijn leven met een haperend hart), Patricia Vlasman relates her daily struggle as a patient.   Venerable Thubten Chodron continues teaching from the book "An Open-Hearted Life," covering Chapter 30 "Exchanging Self and Others, and Taking and Giving." For the complete, May 3, SDD teachings.
